PALMS ACADEMY TOY DRIVE - PALMS Academy is sponsoring a toy drive for local needy children and youth during the month of November.  Drop off a $10 unwrapped toy or gift card at the following rooms- 99, 220, 816, or 302.  Thank you for helping us help others!
 
CAHSEE TESTING – For 11th and 12th graders who have not passed. Tomorrow,Nov. 3rd - English Language Arts Section and Nov. 4th- Math Section. Please note: You MAY NOT use calculators for this test.
 
AZUSAPACIFICUNIVERSITY - In the CareerCenter today. If you are thinking of studying Business, Nursing, Teaching, Law, Youth Ministry, or Medicine, Azusa Pacific might be the right university for you.  Come to the Career Center today at lunch to find out more about APU.
 
MOUNT ST. MARY'S COLLEGE IN THE CAREERCENTER TOMORROW - Have you thought about studying Nursing, Business, Law, Medicine, or Teaching?  Mount St. Mary's may be the place for you.  Bring your lunch and have all of your questions about Mount St. Mary's answered tomorrow.
 
NEXT SERVICE LEARNING DEADLINE IS NOVEMBER 13TH - All late-September and October volunteer hours are due to the Career Center by Friday, November 13th.  Remember that you can volunteer at Homecoming (both the booths and the game) and at any park, religious organization, elementary, or middle school for their Halloween carnivals and fairs to earn Service Learning Hours.  See the Service Learning page on School Loop for more information.
 
LAST SAT DEADLINE IS THIS FRIDAY! -Seniors - You only have the December SAT or ACT tests left to take for most college applications.  Go to www.collegeboard.com to register for the December 5th SAT online by the October 30th deadline.  Go to www.actstudent.org to register for the December 12th ACT online by the November 6the deadline. 
 
PROJECT SHEPHERD – Need hours? For each bag of can foods you bring in from November 2nd - December 1st you will receive 1 hour of community service. Please help support Project Shepherd.

UC SANTA BARBARA IN THE CAREERCENTER ON NOVEMBER 10TH  - Mark your calendars for our UCSB representative's visit next Tuesday, November 10th at lunch.  Find out more about the majors offered at UCSB, the UC application, tips on your personal statement, and scholarships available at UCSB.
 
CAL STATE APPLICATION IS OPEN ONLINE - Seniors - You can start your Cal State  application online.  The Cal State application is at www.csumentor.edu.  Get help on your CSU application on Friday at lunch in the Career Center.  Make sure that you aim to complete and submit your CSU application by October 31st.
