LANCER SECTION

 

THE LIBRARY WILL BE OPEN - Before school on Monday, June 3 through Friday, June 7 and will be open after school on Monday, June 3 and Tuesday, June 4 until 3 pm ONLY.

ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS... - The E.P.H.S. Summer School Registration event is this Wednesday, June 5th at the library.  Please remember to be there with the application you received from your counselor. The event begins at 2:30 p.m., but if you are still in class just arrive immediately after-school when the 2:40 bell rings.  You will meet with an EPHS counselor or teacher, and they will inform you of your starting date and classroom location.  If you still need an EPHS application, then please visit your counselor either before school, during nutrition, or after school.

 

ALL BOYS INTERESTED IN PLAYING TENNIS NEXT YEAR, - There will be a tryout tomorrow, Tuesday right after school at the tennis courts.  No experience necessary, come out to start playing a sport you can play your whole life.

AP SUMMER BRIDGE REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN, - And will be held July 8 through 10 from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.  If you are new to AP or want to refresh your AP skills, you should plan to attend.  This 3-day workshop will focus on time management, study skills, note-taking, organization, and writing skills.  Go to the School Loop main page for the registration link or see Mrs. Cangro in the counseling office.  

ATTENTION GRADUATING SENIORS:  Have you earned the Seal of Biliteracy medal for graduation? Students that passed their AP Spanish or French language test or completed four years of Spanish or French with a B average or better will be awarded the medal. If you did not receive your medal at your Pathway banquet, please stop by room 403 during 1st period, 8th period, lunch or after school to pick it up.

MAKE A WISH MOVIE NIGHT – Come out to Make A Wish Club’s movie night on June 6th. We will be playing Toy Story 3. We will be selling snacks and drinks.  Everyone is welcome!

 

CALIFORNIANS FOR JUSTICE (CFJ) - Is excited to announce that the 2019 Summer Youth Leadership Academy (SYLA) application is now available. Throughout our program, youth develop their critical analysis and understanding of racial justice and grassroots movements. We also focus on relationship building and want our students to tap into new networks and build strong friendships.  This stipend summer internship program meets for 5 weeks, June 25th - July 25th, 3 times a week in the afternoons with a cohort of 12- 15 students. The program takes place in the CFJ office located 200 Pine Ave. If are interested, please contact Mrs. Abbate in the front office.

ATTENTION SENIORS! - The 2019 Panoramic Pictures are ready for pick up! If you pre-ordered a picture, bring your student ID to the banker’s office to get yours now! If you didn’t pre-order, we have a limited number of extras that you can purchase for $30.

 

SENIOR ANNOUNCEMENTS - Are now on sale at the student store. They will be sold in bundles of 5 for $12.50. While supplies last.
