Service Learning Opportunities

welogo

We are Merit Scholars!

Merit Scholars has adapted the WE Organization curriculum and implemented into our course of study.  These lessons and activities include social emotional learning and service learning activities. These lessons provide students with the skills to become caring, respectful, and responsible citizens. When students have the foundation and support they need to become active agents of change, anything is possible.

AP with WE Service is a program that we offer to our students.  AP with WE Service combines college-level learning from the Advanced Placement® Program with WE’s service learning model to create an opportunity for AP students to apply their classroom work to the real world. Students will be given opportunities to do their own service learning project and will be given certificate of completion from College Board.

Not only will engage students in service learning activities but will strengthen their passion, knowledge, and skills to tackle real world problems.

Students will have many opportunities to participate in community service throughout the year.

Students:  If you are looking on how to add your hours for service, the directions are on the service log document.
